Working Together in 2010
Trinity Hospice provides care for people with advanced illnesses within their homes or at the hospice. They support them in living every moment and achieving the best possible quality of life as they approach the end of their lives. Last year Trinity’s community nurses cared for 1,750 people in their own homes, and they cared for more than 400 people on their wards. All their services are provided free of charge. This financial year they must raise close to £8m, only around a third of which comes from the NHS. The rest comes from the support of people like you. They were founded in 1891 and are the oldest hospice in the UK, and we hope you will agree they are a charity worth helping! Please help support to their Community Nurses by raising £20, £50, £100 or £250 through sponsorship for taking part in the Clapham Common Series this summer.
